NATIONAL NOVICE COMPS !!!!!!!!!!

To get as many competitors as possible my regions would be, North east, North west, Yorkshire, London, Midlands, South east, south west, Norfolk (Anglia), Wales, Irland, and Scotland in two parts of lower and highlands.
stage 1
This give us 12 regions these regions could have heats than a final if needed with the top 3 in each region going forward.
stage 2
highlands and lower Scotland, North East, North West,
Yorkshire and Irland 18 competitors
Wales, London, Midlands, Norfolk, South East and South West 18 competitors
top 6 from stage 2 going forwad to a British Final of 12 athletes. More comps or shows, more athletes

Thanks guys. i would like to do the North East but you need a council, For example if we have 12 regions we need 13 people on the council 1 person for each region and a leader (lets say Phil). This council will set the standards you lot want. Now i am happy to help up here in the North East if wanted.
lets give this council a name? how about British Council of strongman (PS i hope some one has a better name)

I will put myself forward for the North west allthough i would need to borrow equipment at the moment, wont be a problem with the venue, also i will need help and advice from you guys who have organised shows before. ill have help from my missus and friends.
But if i organise an event can i compete in it.

Totally agree with you Ken definately feel that an intermediate competition would be valuable for people like myself to bridge the gap between novice and open competitions.

Chris i am in the same boat as you equipment wise, i am hoping put on a show in May will have enough equipment by then, i only want to compete in a few shows, then concentrate on promoting, as will be in the veterans next year. Feel free to e-mail me at [e-mail]
