hi i'm new to this i'm 18 years old 21stone i want to start training but dont know how to start.any info would be gr8 such as programs diets.thanks

hello mate, well a simple way to start is to focus on the power movements ie deadlift, cleanand press and squat. work hard at increasing your weights on these every week. even if only by .5kg, continual progress is the key. next find either a local strongman [ we are everywhere!] or start putting together the types of equipment used in comps, ie farmers walks tyres etc and begin event training once aweek. work on your fitness when ever possible and grip. hope that helps. for a more comprehensive prog i'd need to know your hieght, how long you've been training fitness level and in what areas you are strong and weak in. alex
