Hi Phil and everyone

I went with my training partner john jones who took part, and I had a wicked day. It was my first time coming to the strongman competition and I really enjoyed watching you lot work hard. The barrel walk in the medley looked hard work. I was well impressed by one of the lads in the first event (one at the end of the list) who was throwing the log up from his knees up each time. Great stuff. The tug of war was a bit confusing - we reckoned it might have worked out better if that one was left out. John did well and it was great to see the training pay off - well done mate you did yourself and everyone proud!

grt show liked all events weird tug o war thing but good coz i came joint 3rd with jay. over all good day plus well done to darren .and woody 3rd good stuff, ;D

phil called me to say to you all a big big thank you for a great weekend novice and open he said he well be back in london in and near his pc in a few days and that he would post results soon

Well done to all the other competitors. I had to explain to the missus why I had grass stains and burns on my knees. I told her it involved a leather harness, a length of rope and a 20 st man. She went out and bought me Jimmy Sommerville's greatest hit's!

Well, thanks you boys for putting on a great show of guts and determination! The way the show went on Sunday proves that the way I like to run Allhallows is working! I like it to be not too daunting and a place that first timers are wellcomed and looked after.
All the newcomers said that the advice and encoragement they got from more experienced athletes was great. Alex Hunter and Steve Mcneill are allways around on my novice shows helping and giving valuable advice to all the novices.

So after a good weekends competition I did feel quite content but very grateful and thankful for all the help I got from everyone who chipped in and helped it run as smoothly as it did.
