After just completing our second year supporting the strongmen, We must say that the standard is getting better and better!!!! Congratulations to Gregor, by the way, !!!!!!!!! However we were expecting a few minutes silence, if not at least a short tribute to Mark ?!?!? We found it sad and even a little disrespectful! What is the general view out there? ? Tim 'N' Wendy

I agree
It would have been nice to have a minutes silence in his memory

all the guys at bsm did have a miniute silence at the welcome meeting. And i was told by the director that when bsm is shown on tv there will be a dedication for mark.

1min silence was held at all the qualifyers too.
Ours (The Southetrn Heat) during the silence 2 blokes came out of the pub with their beers chatting away before realising that they had just walked into a minutes silence taking place. One said to the other amongst all the big shouldered competitors and crowd "Is this for Thora Hird!" (as she died the day before!) I nearly lost it! I was creasing up inside and afterwards I thought Marc would have loved that!
regards
Phil
