Handles on logs

Hi,
May seem like a daft question to some but can anyone tell me, roughly how far apart the handles are on a log as used in overhead lifting ??
I know they will probably vary from log to log but I have someone who may be willing to make one for me so am looking for dimensions as close as possible to a competition log.

Where about are you Steve? I have a log trainer you could try out as it has two different handle placings!! I am in Reading
