Agata's old weightlifting coach has asked Agata and I to put on a contest in July to raise Money for her old Weightlifting Club. Despite the success of the club in producing some excellent lifters, they are basically skint, so it would be nice to raise a few Zloty for them.
Most probably location is a football ground on the edge of town.
Now he only asked us about an hour ago, so right now nothing is definate. If lots of 105kg competitors want to come there'll be a 105 comp. If lots of women want to come, there'll be a womans comp. If its only fat bastards like me, it'll be a fat bastards comp!
There will I'd imagine be a fair few Polish competitors (they love their strongman here!), if I can get enough non-Polish athletes to come over I'd make it a team comp - Poland v Whoever else turns up!
May even be a Push-Pull powerlfiting meet the night before! (again nothing is certain at this stage!)
I can't promise big prizes. I can't tell you events yet. I'm not even 100% on the date, although will know pretty soon.
What I can promise is a really fun and memorable contest, and an after party you won't forget (or with the cheap vodka over here should that be won't remember?)
I'm pretty much in your hands here - I'll organise what people want to do within reason.
