Deadlift- belt and chalk is allowed. no straps and no power suits. No bouncing the weight at the bottom of the move. and your hands must stay on the bar. if you drop the bar before it touches the ground you will not get the lift. The reff will tell you when to lift and lower the weight.
Viking Press- Elbow sleeves, belt and wrist wraps are ok. No double dips. elbows must be locked at the top of the movement and the handles must go down bellow your chin. At the start of the lift when you lift the viking from the floor the event begins, as soon as the viking hits the ground the event is over.
Super Yoke- Knee wraps or sleeves, and belt are ok. it is a 20 meter course, if you drop the yoke you can pick it back up and try again untill you are finished. you will have 1 min to complete the course. No sliding the yoke!!! it must be picked up. If you dont make the 20 meters a distance will be measured.
Farmers walk- Knee wraps or sleeves and belt, chalk, ok. no straps are allowed!! you will have 1 min to complete the course, you can drop them and pick them up as much as you like. no sliding. if you cant complete the course a distance will be taken.
Atlas stones- 100kg, 120kg, 140kg, 160kg stones to be loaded in the fastest time. if you cant load them all a time will be taken from the last stone you loaded. Taky is aloud.
The Tyre flip- Athletes will flip a 340kg tyre for 12 reps in the fastest time possible. No taky!! chalk is ok.
Think i have covered everything... remember all strongmen must weigh in at 105kg or under!!! this will be a cracking day!!!
