deadly medley flip. 300,350 and 400kg tyre,run 25m,load onto 5feet platform 3 120kg barrels,150kg anvil on barrel,then 120kg barrel,then duck walk 25m 250kg weight.advertised as 8 piece medley,but mike horwood,through in the duck walk for good measure.all this in 2 minutes.

he wanted this win and it showed,but training partner steve wasn't going let him have it all his own way and a good battle was forming.although steve had to pull out, alex was definitely focused on winning this title.well deserved slap on the head to you mate.
2nd paul carter 24 points
.big lad,done very well.going from strength to strength,building knowledge all the time.one to watch out for.
3rd pacer allen 22 points
first open for years,upper body strength,mind blowing.being shorter than the other guys he done well to lift the anvil onto the platform.he's back and looking to be up with the top guys next year,good luck pacer.

don't know what to say.what a guy.first show allhallows NOVICE,which he won.then the heaviest show ever(i believe)in the south.he was up there with the pro's.big ,powerfull guy,another great future strong man.my hat goes off to you.
5th steve mcneill 19 points(on count back)
was in 1st place by half a point,when he tore the callouses of his hand in the 280kg farmers,unluckly steve you looked good on the day
6th jay hughes 19 points
this guys a novice and only 19 years old.he put on a great performance.also had done the novice show the day before.that got to be a first.5th truck pull,joint 3rd log lift,5th farmers,2nd dead lift and just ran out of steam in the medley,but i think,that one hell of a showman.good luck on next year.although i did hear theres another show for top novices next month.
7th andy gower 7.5 points.
he had a 8 week old injury.which he was hoping wouldn't,get worse.it did in log lift and had to go to hospital.very bad injury to his calf muscle,hope its not as bad as its sounds.well done for entering in the first place andy

big thnx 2 every 1 hu helped out. Very well done 2 mike as it was the 1st compertition he run. i thought he did very well.*claps*
